A novel placement of a Toric Intra-ocular Lens (IOL) in a patient with a rupture in the posterior capsule created during prior retina surgery. The film highlights strategy to remove all lens material successfully with a known tear in the capsule and place a one-piece toric IOL with reverse optic capture. Femtosecond technology and intraoperative aberrometry are leveraged to optimize success.
