Eighty eight year old man with hard cataract that underwent 3D phacoemulsification, presented strepitous snoring causing posterior capsular tear. The surgeon finished cataract extraction with anterior vitrectomy. Vitreo-retinal surgeon extracted a small nuclear fragment with Centurion vitrector. Anterior segment surgeon introduced an anterior chamber lens. Final visual acuity 20/40 2 weeks later.
