Cataract is one of the most important causes of treatable blindness in children. I present the case of a 3-year-old girl with bilateral cataract and very limited vision in both eyes, I performed a phaco with posterior capsulotomy, anterior vitrectomy and intraocular lens implantation in the capsular bag. The surgical success resulted in a total change for the integral development of this patient.
