Renato Ambrosio Jr., MD, PhD
Dr. Ambrósio is a world-class refractive surgeon-scientist in corneal/refractive diagnostics, custom laser vision correction, refractive cataract surgery, and therapeutic procedures for keratoconus. Dr. Ambrósio will give the Richard L. Lindstrom, MD, Lecture in the Sunday Main Stage session.
David F. Chang, MD
Dr. Chang is widely recognized as one of the top cataract surgeons in the world. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harvard College and earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Chang will give the Charles D. Kelman, MD, Lecture in the Sunday Main Stage session.
Charlie Cook
The founder of the Cook Political Report, Mr. Cook is one of the nation’s leading authorities on U.S. elections and political trends. Catch Mr. Cook in the “Politics, the Election, Healthcare: What Lies Ahead for America” symposium, sponsored by the ASCRS Government Relations Committee.
Annie Duke, PhD
Ms. Duke is an author, speaker, and consultant with a focus in the “decision-making space.” She is a retired professional poker player, a World Series Poker champion, and PhD in cognitive psychology. Ms. Duke will speak in the Saturday Main Stage session.
Vance Thompson, MD
Dr. Thompson is an internationally recognized specialist in refractive cornea, phakic IOL, and lens-based surgery. As incoming ASCRS President, Dr. Thompson will be interviewed in the Opening Session and Reception: 50th Anniversary and more session on Friday.
Mitchell Weikert, MD
Dr. Weikert is a Professor at the Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Weikert received degrees in both electrical and biomedical engineering. Dr. Weikert will give the Cornelius D. Binkhorst, MD, Lecture in the Saturday Main Stage session.
