Lenticule extraction surgery involves separation of femto-laser cut stromal surfaces which are hydrophobic, sticky and may be tenacious. Surgical manipulation with multiple instrument exchanges can cause delayed visual recovery. We describe the use of a new instrument to hydro-dissect the lenticule and extract it automatically with the use of a single instrument
