A homeless patient was referred for evisceration due to spontaneous perforation secondary to corneal ulceration and cicatricial lagophthalmos. As a result of the examination and imaging, tectonic keratoplasty and eyelid surgery were planned for the patient in the same session in order to preserve his globe. Evisceration should be considered in patients after all options have been exhausted.
