Course Description
The course will begin by reviewing the basics of topography. It will also demonstrate an easy-to-understand way to use a topographic axial curvature map, aberration profile, and the image simulation feature of most topographers to understand how various corneal abnormalities influence image contrast. Special attention will be paid to the unhappy LASIK, RK, and multifocal IOL patients.
Educational Objective
Understand how to use an aberration profile to explain poor visual quality.
This 1.5 hour Instructional Course was recorded at the 2024 ASCRS Annual Meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, April 5-8, 2024.
